Version Control Standoff – Git vs SVN

This month at DevEvening we have a standoff between the 2 different types of VCS. Representing the conventional systems we have SVN presented by Craig ‘Chillfire’ Hogan. Representing DVCS we have Git presented by Jeremy Skinner. The evening will see the 2 different systems take on each other in a feature by feature demo. This will range from simple commits, updates and deletes to branching.

Cyclehubs by Daniel May

Cyclehubs is a windows phone 7 application used for finding the nearest Barclays Cycle Hire station to you. Daniel May will be demoing the application (maybe even on a device) and going through some of the development architecture used for the app - including the "how, what, when, why", the life cycle, and expected release date.
